The CEDEJ library, which the Center partly inherited from the French School of Law in Cairo, holds around 36,000 volumes and 6,500 maps. CEDEJ has resumed a policy of new acquisitions in the Humanities and Social Sciences concerning Egypt and Sudan since 2025. The library welcomes all researchers and students to its Garden City reading room. In addition to its physical collections, the library offers access to several digital archives, including a fully searchable Egyptian press archive. CEDEJ also published nearly 300 books and booklets since its creation, some of which were digitized and are accessible here.
