Waleed K. Salem is a journalist and a doctoral candidate in political science at the University of Washington in Seattle (U.S.). His doctoral dissertation is about Egyptian judicial politics — specifically the role of lawyers and courts during periods of political change. Waleed’s journalism work appeared in New Lines Magazine, Nature, and the New Atlantis, among others.

Caroline Barbary a soutenu son doctorat en sociologie à l’Université Panthéon Sorbonne en mars 2019. En 2019-2022 elle était postdoctorante dans le cadre du programme « Early Career Researchers » du Conseil Arabe des Sciences Sociales (CASS), en accueil au Centre d’Études et de Documentation Économiques, Juridiques et Sociales (CEDEJ).
